Wanted a new twist on my porch pumpkins this year. So I found some white pumpkins and did a little painting and ribbon action. I think Shane is disappointed that there are no traditional orange pumpkins in the mix. We will have to pick some up this week at the pumpkin patch. Taking the kids on Wednesday.
Sampled this Pumpkin Dip @ my local Maceys and added it to my must make list. They used Vanilla Wafers and thin Ginger Snaps to dip. They also blended mini chocolate chips into their dip. Super good!
Stopped by Arctic Circle this week for a seasonal Pumpkin Shake. My first of many stops for the season I am sure. Love the nutmeg taste. yum.
Also, made this yummy Creamy Pumpkin Soup tonight. 1 out of the 2 kiddos liked it. For the next time I make this, I just need to figure out what The Blue Lemon sprinkles on their Butternut Squash soup that is similar to this. Just might have to ask them next time I go.
I bought a new set of Halloween/Harvest cookie cutters. The kids have been asking everyday when we can make cookies with them. Contemplating sugar cookies this weekend. We will see how ambitious I am.
If the pumpkin patch you're heading to is the one at the Red Barn make sure you get their pumpkin ice cream. Delicious! Love your white pumpkins, by the way.
5 telling it like it is:
Well you DO love pumpkin, now don't you.
Good choices.
LOVE the painted pumpkins. I am going to do some like it.
Yes. Make sugar cookies. Just make the dough ahead of time and then cut, bake & decorate later.
mmmm. Blue Lemon.
I second the vote for sugar cookies. Some time tomorrow would work great for my schedule. You bake and I'll eat!
The pumpkins turned out cute!
PS, Barry's has pumpkin brownie shakes. You'll have to give it a try.

I didn't realize how obsessed with pumpkin you are. Everything looks good!
