Coloring fun for all

I found this really cool site where you can take any old picture and turn it into a coloring page. We had a fun-filled afternoon coloring dad's hair purple & embellishing Kendal's hair.

Kade thought this was really cool. You can try it here.

Congrats on the ESPY award!

I like to watch the ESPYs, mostly to see the Arthur Ashe Award (usually an inspiring sports story). This year I was glad to see these girls receive the "Best Moment of the Year Award".
If you have a minute (or five actually), watch the video below. Good stuff!

Would you like caramel with your fries?

I saw these advertised this week.  Apple slices from Burger King that look like french fries & come with little ketchup look-a-like packets of caramel sauce.
They are calling them "Fry-pods."  I guess they figure that if they disguise these fresh apples to look like greasy french fries, kids everywhere will be totally duped & will start eating a little more healthy.  What will they think of next?

Poetic justice?

Some days this little girl makes me bonkers (well not really but she does have a fiesty side) but on this day I couldn't get enough of her funny little personality.  My mom says it is "Poetic Justice."  I can only wish that I was at one time as cute as this little thing. :-)

Kudos...

So my cousin Lance lives here in P-town & stopped by the other night to invite us for a dutch oven dinner up the canyon.  He had taken the week off from work & had pulled their trailer up with their 4 kids to camp all week...yes 4.   Their camp was just down the road from where their ward was having girl's camp, so his wife (who is a YW counselor) could come back & forth and nurse their baby.

Complete dedication is all I have to say.

Luke, Logan & Morgan
Cute kids.

Kade & Luke
(Look like they could be brothers huh?)

Posing for the camera.

Baby Jaxon...such a chilled out little guy.

He kept the wood on the fire all night.

Our chef for the evening.  Thanks!

Kendal & dad.

All fun & games until we had to leave.

We stopped for deer a couple of times.

Seeing a double rainbow on the way home made the drive worth it.

Munson Boy's Outting

Pine Lake
July 08

Brayden telling Kade his fishing stories...and Kade taking it all in.

Giving Tanner a pull in his float tube.
(I heard he was a fish slaying machine)

Anthony, Kade & Uncle Tracy.
Had a fun time with Tony!

Hank, loving the freedom.  He came home limping and sore from all the running & swimming.

Looking very excited about his fish.

Fish heads, digging in dirt, catching chipmunks....what boys do best!

Skyler cooking up dinner.
(Not the chipmunks I hope?)

"Anyone want to take me on a ride?"

Uncle Tyler helping Kade reel in his 1st fish.

Look at that whopper!
Didn't want to touch it but can't stop talking about it.

Tanner showing him how to gut the fish.
Kade wanted nothing to do with that part.
I can't blame him really.

Headin' out on the lake.

Uncle JR giving rides too.

The Hankster.

Thanks for a fun time Grandpa!
Looking forward to next year.

Happy 4th

Kade made the big step and finally got on the 4-wheeler with Grandpa Scott without tears.
Grandpa didn't get much of a rest after that.

Cutest giggles ever while doing snaps with Grandpa.

Shear entertainment.

Enjoying parade goodies with cousin Tony.

Ice cream anyone?

Love that smile!

Fun times until Kendal ended the weekend off with the stomach flu.
Poor little thing!

Craving a Rainbow

This place was one of our favorite treat spots when we lived in Bountiful.

Hometown burger joint with killer onion rings and of course the famous "Rainbow."
Yummy!

Picaso returns...

This time it was the color Scarlet...

embedded in the upholstery of my car & carseats in the lovely 95 + degree weather.

I can appreciate that he wanted to spice up the drab tan with a little splash of color.
I just wish he had consulted with me first.

A special shout out to Goo Gone. (Thanks JoAnn)
Only 45 minutes of scrubbing & you
can hardly tell it was once there.
