embedded in the upholstery of my car & carseats in the lovely 95 + degree weather.
I can appreciate that he wanted to spice up the drab tan with a little splash of color.
I just wish he had consulted with me first.

That stinks. I'm glad it mostly came out, although you probably melted when you were scrubbing it in a hot car. Blech.
We'll definitely have to get Kade and Caulder together. I'll tell Cole to stop by sometime so they can play together. I'm sure Cole will appreciate having Kade help wear Caulder out!
I would have left it. Now when he grows up to be an artist, he'll say you never supported him.
It would have been less time to just color the rest red, especially if you enlist the little one to help you finish the job. I love your blog, and I do read it frequently linking from Jon's. I'm glad you find humor in my boredom. It's challenging to get people to think my sense of humor is actually humorous, and equally challenging to find pictures that match my stories and writings.
