my baby boy turned 5

he's done it!  he is growing up on us.

seems like yesterday he was just a toddler...

now, no matter what I do...I can't convince him to stay little.
we sure love this boy and his fun-loving personality.
by his request, we celebrated his big day at the cabin.

something about leavin' the windows open and the crisp mountain air while you sleep.

I love the following scenes while relaxing for the weekend...
kendal wanting dad to do her hair.  yes!  break for mom.

& yummy french toast & sour dough pancake breakfasts...courtesy of Shane.

lots of bike riding,

home run derby playing,

& cozying up with the wildlife.

kade's 1st set.

spent saturday afternoon with JP & dad playing his first round of golf.
(we won't mention that he out drove his dad on hole #4)

putted around in the yard.

entertained us all by showing us what a "96 XP" jump looks like on the "tree stump jump."

rainbow chip birthday cupcakes...also by request.

celebrating with the clarks.

took in a sunday afternoon thunderstorm.

enjoyed our long weekend getaway to Star Valley.

happy birthday to a pretty special boy who is so loved!

I saw him the other day with Shane at the scout store. I can't believe how grown up he is getting. I hope he had a great birthday. He is such a cute little guy.
