6 months

I failed to post this earlier, now she is nearly 7 months old. Oh well...
Little Kendal is growing so fast. She is crawling now, a little at a time...everytime I try to film her she won't do it, but she is crawling! She has her two front teeth on the bottom that have come in. I love that toothy grin.
She is an active live wire. Always on the move, either kicking or reaching or rolling! She is such a pure joy. We love having her in the family and don't know what we would do without her sweet little spirit. She is always smiling and showing those dimples and making us happy.
Kade loves his little sister "Toto" and is especially sweet with her.
We love you Kendal Lou!

Kendal's 6 month stats are:

Weight: 16.5 lbs (53%)
Height: 28.5 in (99%)

She is off to a good start. Hopefully she will be taller than her mom!

GO COUGARS!

What a fun way to finish off the Thanksgiving weekend...a win against Utah!
We even got Elton...the Ultimate (ha ha) Utah fan to come and join us for the game, among the sea of BLUE.
Brayden had a great time telling him his hat was ugly....I have to agree.
It's no wonder the dogs attacked you for decorating our laundry room door.
Bragging rights for yet another year!

I'm officially stuffed!

Tyler and Skyler started the day bright and early at the annual
PHS (Parowan HS) Turkey Bowl.
As Tyler said, "Skyler rode the short bus to the game." Sporting his spiffy helmet.
Kade was happy to wear the helmet that was a tight fit for his not so little head.

No...not a turkey bowl injury...a wrestling with Skyler injury! A fun trip to the hospital on Thanksgiving morning!
(I hear that you have taken off the splint? tsst...tsst! Better get to the dr.) ;-)

Thanks to Amy & JR for hosting us all at their newly remodeled place. Good times and good food.
Thanks to mom for the much anticipated homemade chicken soup and mashed potatos...my favorite and it only comes once a year!

Aftermath of too much turkey...naps and football!

Tracy, Holly & Tony came later on in the day and we had a little birthday celebration for the big 1-year-old.
Happy Birthday Tony!

Thankful Thoughts

We celebrated Thanksgiving a few days early here at the Edwards'. Since Shane will be flying the friendly skies and will not be around for T-day, we had our own turkey dinner tonight with our little family. Kendal loved the whipped cream from the jello and Kade went to town on the banana cream & pumpkin pie.

A few random things that I am thankful for:
(in no particular order) :-)

-Sonic Happy Hour...Diet Coke and pebble ice!

-Peanut butter and raspberry "bam" sandwich smeared kisses from Kade.

-A hard-working husband that is the best dad to our kids.

-A happy, giggly Kendal girl @ 5:30 a.m.

-The occasional full night's sleep.

-My i-Mac.

-Candy Cane Hershey Kisses...yes, it is that time of the year.

-"Itttt's funny mom," coming from Kade before I can get upset for something that he did.

-Disposable diapers...can you imagine using cloth diapers? I'll be even more thankful for potty-trained kids but 1 step at a time here.

-Good health...won't ever take that for granted again.

So many reasons to be thankful!
What are you thankful for?

5 Things About Me

Suzie tagged me on this one. 5 Things that you may not know about me.
I know you are all on the edge of your seat.

1. I have an obsession for clocks. I counted 8. (Those are the ones that I have hanging...I have more boxed away downstairs) I have to refrain from buying more clocks. If I do buy them, I have to hide them from Shane. (Ha ha...just kidding)

2. At age 13, I had a 14-inch rod put in my back. Darn scoliosis! Still get nervous every time I go through airport security. :-)

3. I like to golf and I even have my own clubs. Haven't been since the kids have come along. Fun times with Shane when we were first married.

4. I love to do laundry! Weird huh? I can't get enough of the smell of fabric softener when folding soft jammies, blankets and towels. I could drink that stuff! Front loader washer/dryer is on my wish list...I've been really good this year Santa.

5. I have my Hunter's Safety. My friend Brooke and I took the class when we were living in Logan and our husbands were busy flight instructing. We were a couple of the only girls in the class along with 20+ Boy Scouts. Our husbands were so proud...um can't say I have used it since.

6. Ok...I thought of another. I have a red shoe fetish.
LOVE red shoes of any kind.

Since my fan base is small...I am tagging Vanessa, because I know she reads this. Devanie, because she just started a blog and I don't have her address yet. Hint...Hint! Anyone else that reads this...you are tagged too!

Comfy & crawling

This was Sunday night after he had gone to bed.

The next day taking his nap, he ended up in the same place...in the closet.

Kendal is so close to crawling...won't be long!

She will rock until her arms give out.

Bad hair day...

No, this isn't a rat. This is the result of:
a. Overdue trip to the groomer
and
b. A dog that HATES to be brushed

So when you see Boo running the neighborhood, don't be afraid.
I can't really even look at her without laughing.
I hope that she forgives me for the butch hair cut. The groomer suggested getting her a sweater...
I don't think that I will subject her to any more humiliation. Poor Boo!

Stampin' Around

A few samples of what we did last night:

Thanks to Shannon for yet another wonderful night of stamping! She always has the best ideas. Her cute projects got me excited for the holidays....which by the way are approaching fast! Better get ready!
